Registration Submission Requirements
Prior to submitting your registration, please review the following requirements carefully:
- Accurate Completion of Student Information
The Student Information section must be completed fully and accurately. This includes:
- Consequences of Inaccurate Information
Registrations containing incomplete or inaccurate information will be declined. In such cases, families will be required to submit a new registration form, which will receive a new date and timestamp.
- Timestamp Policy
We do not honor original timestamps for submissions that are declined due to incorrect or incomplete information.
By submitting your registration, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these requirements to ensure an efficient and fair registration process.

Attendance & Site Operations
- Check-In & Check-Out: A Just For Kids staff member will sign children in and out when arriving from or departing to school or the school bus.
- Hours of Operation: Sites are open Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Any changes to operating hours will be posted.
- Temporary Closures:
- Sites may temporarily close due to low enrollment, safety concerns (e.g., construction, electrical or water outages), or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Parents will be notified of alternate sites where care will be available.
- On non-school days and during summer, some sites may close due to low attendance. If this happens, alternate sites will be provided.
- Weather-Related Closures:
- If Boise School District closes due to weather or safety concerns, Just For Kids will also be closed.
- No tuition credit will be given for weather-related closures.
- If alternate sites are provided for holiday, low enrollment, or safety-related closures, tuition credit will not be issued.
Absence Notification Policy
Parents/guardians must notify the site by 9:00 a.m. if their child will be absent.
Failure to notify will result in:
- First occurrence: Written reminder.
- Second occurrence: $5.00 fine.
- Each additional occurrence: An additional $5.00 cumulative fee.
Contract Changes
- Contract changes are not retroactive and must be submitted at least 5 business days in advance.
- The same parent/guardian who signed the original contract must submit the change request to the Just For Kids District Office.
- Tuition, extra day, or extra hour charges will continue to be billed according to the original contract until the new contract takes effect.
Medical Emergencies & Health Policies
- If a medical emergency occurs, the Site Coordinator will first attempt to contact the parent/guardian.
- If immediate medical attention is required, 911 will be called to transport the child to an emergency care facility.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for all medical expenses incurred from injuries sustained while attending the program.
- Medication Policy: Staff are only trained to administer oral and topical medications.
Meals & Snacks
- Parents/guardians must provide a sack lunch on days when the school cafeteria is closed.
- Lunches cannot be refrigerated or heated on-site.
- If a child eats breakfast or lunch in the school cafeteria, parents/guardians are responsible for payment directly to the school.
- Just For Kids provides snacks during designated snack times. A menu of snack items will be posted at each site.
Toileting Requirements
- Children must be fully toilet trained to enroll in the program.
- If a toileting accident occurs, children must be able to clean themselves and change clothes unassisted.
